It began Spring of '86 when a poorly-recorded WKKC 89.3 FM mixtape fell into his hands.

A close cousin had provided him with a new style of music that would change his life forever. Although the seeds of house music were planted in the culture rich pockets of Chicago during the late 70's and early 80's, its presence had yet to be felt in the fertile farmlands of the Mississippi Delta. And down deep in Greenwood, Mississippi, spring would also baptize a new disciple of underground ambience.

So inspired, he embarked upon his own pilgrimage by blindly relocating to Chicago. It was 1992 and time to chase yet another dream after completing his bachelors of arts in broadcast news at Mississippi State University.
