Kellyyss got in touch with the house music scene in Naples at the age of sixteen. This experience led him to search for the groove called "underground music" in Italy in the first half of the '90s. This search let Kellyyss resolve his obsession: that underground house was the key to a new reality. He connected with deeprhythms.com owner Timo Rotonen, Roxnadz.com's Malcolm Moore, and other groups of people from around the world, each with a strong passion for deep music.

Inspired by the mantra "only spread deep music," and together with his best friend, DJ DaSoul, Kellyyss promoted deep house parties, trying to broaden the deeper voices in his town. At 24, he realized his first studio where he began expressing his soul in music. Many of his influences come from deep labels like Plastic City, Driftwood, Nordik Trax, Bombay, Altered Moods Recordings, deep4life, Soulstar and techno labels like raum... music, Morris Audio, A Touch of Class, Force Tracks, Cytrax, Stattmusic, and Handleheld.
