José listened to house music for nearly 10 years, but it wasn't until 2001 that he started tinkering around with music production. Although he was not musically trained, he knew enough to put some beats together. He is thankful for the influences along the way that helped his learning process as he dove into music-making.
He has contributed to some homegrown projects such as the Sound Principle series that were executive-produced by deep house elder Darand Land. Residing in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, he is pleased and honored to have taken part in projects with his Sit n' Spin partner in crime, Malcolm Moore. "Can't get deeper than that," he likes to say. |
